“Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today". Those were the words of the Great James Dean.
As we saw this quote, the first thing that caught our attention was just one word: dream… That word stayed floating around in our minds. It gave us a hard work to understand it, We admit it, but after spending our whole afternoon in trying to define that word composed by five letters, something finally came up.
What are dreams? According to Cambridge’s Dictionary, dreams are events or images that happen in your mind when you are sleeping; but let’s go a little more deep: dreams are the breath of life, or at least for us, this two girls that try to demonstrate that they know more than they actually do.
Why do you say dreams are the breath of life? Well, with kind of a twisted perspective, you can conclude that everything starts as a dream. Since immemorial times, people have always dreamt, by that we don’t mean to state the obvious, what we really want to establish is that the motivation for everything has always been a dream. According to De Vries, the main principle of evolution is mutation, but if we get a little bit philosophical, the main principle of evolution should be dreams, that desire of being everyday better, to persevere and to do something that makes an actual difference. Everything starts as a dream, continues as a goal, and finishes in a smile.
